Winter weather advisory just posted here for this afternoon through Friday morning. I'm not going anywhere. Gotta finish cleaning the house and start prepping food for tomorrow. Gonna be a very fattening day here tomorrow for me. Hope y'all have a really wonderful Thanksgiving! If traveling, be careful. I know YOU are a perfect driver, but there will be a lot of the OTHER kind on the roads with you! Be well all!

We were supposed to get that today too, nothing yet, but clouding up, will probably have a nice white Thanksgiving in the morning. Take care everyone driving like Latestarter said!

I had a bit of a laugh when I read this. I always tell my husband to stay safe and drive carefully when he leaves in the morning. He has sometimes pointed out that he's a very safe driver, and I know that he is, but as I tell him, it's the idiots out there that I worry about. He knows exactly what I mean - traffic in Wilmington is so bad, I have often joked about getting a bumper sticker made that reads, "Pray for me; I drive on Market Street."

SCG too lazy to cook any ice cream but I finished an 8 pack of Blue Bunny neapolitan ice cream sandwiches, and also a 6 pk. of their mini ice cream bars. I don't think I like any of that stuff any more - too bland.

Cooking ice cream is just too frustrating, it keeps melting

I bet it is.

It's done. I guess I have gotten a bit faster at the hand sewing the binding on.
next I have the yellow and black one to finish for our DIL.

Diva, yeah... I tried the salted caramel, I think I liked it... Not sure, the caramel part was a bit too sweet.

I'm working the late shift today. No matter what I tried, I couldn't sleep in. I took the extra hours to finish this quilt. Both Dsqard and I made the quilt and started on it last February. It feels good to finally have it done.






Here's Dsqards version (we had the same kit for the front, hers is quilted much nicer than mine is):
