I need some help please.

I only have a few more days to turn in my medicare forms and I have been asking for help and trying to figure out which plan to chose and how to pick it. I went on medicare.gov and it does not have a place for me to chose the plans. I got a letter in the mail with my card and it said they will be taking out for medicare part A and B.
Question: how do I know if I am getting a drug program or if I need to pick a drug program and how do I pick one if I need it?

Weird - my brother turned 65 in June and they have been bomb barding him with invitations to a bunch of different health plans - even sending it to my address - he hasn't lived here in many, many years. Anyway he plans to work awhile longer and has Blue Cross at work - so Medicare A is his second insurer. Under Blue cross he has part b coverage as well as part D. He gets many prescriptions monthly.

Would you know if you can qualify for medicare extra help? If you are low income the extra help pays some or all of the part b & part d coverage.

Right now Dh has Blue Cross ins. on me but that will change as I am now able to get medicare.
I understand that Medicare is going to deduct for part A&B but I don't know if I need part d or if it is included in A&B or if my Blue Cross will be my drug coverage of if I still need to pick a drug plan.

Diva my Disability is low but DH's income probably won't let me have help to pay for the B costs.

I looked on medicare web site and I do not see a place on the forms or online to pick a drug plan and I don't know how to pick one.

If you keep the coverage on your BCBS that will become your secondary insurance for hospital or provider visits. If BCBS currently has drug coverage, you keep it, as long as you keep the plan active on you. If your husband is going to remove you from the plan to save money, you'll want to get a part D.

Thank you so much! They make this whole ordeal so confusing. I have read the book over and over and it never said where you chose the part D! It has been driving me crazy.
