The Old Folks Home

There is also a part C? - oy!!

I just got the prevnar something shot that covers 13 strains of pneumonia, the druggist said it was free with medicare. I have had the simple pneumonia shot before. I had pneumonia back in the '80's when my son was very young - my mom had it worse than I did - of course the menfolk still expected to be waited on hand and foot.

My friend couldn't afford the part B Medicare when it was first offered- because she owed a ton of money on her late husband's bills. Later when she tried to get part B, the cost was astronomical. She copes by never going to a doctor period. Or a dentist, or getting a flu shot or anything else. She just gets any supplements, etc. that Dr.Oz says to get. What can you do

Check into humana chicka. My aunt just beat lung cancer with medicare and a free humana plan

I am hearing good things about humana. I have a mentally handicapped sister in a home. They bugged me for a while to get her on it. So, I finally talked with them about it..and of course, a facility like this wouldn't want it if it wasn't saving them money! They said they really liked it, so as the guardian, I said ok to it.

We have Humana. It's actually very good, except the dental plan. They paid for everything for my chemo, and breast cancer surgery, and all testing involved, including the tubes of pain killer cream to put on the port area before the chemo. My doctor said most insurance companies won't pay for the extra things like that.

That is what I am talking about Diva. Notice the part C say's "Usually" and then on another page it states if you don't get the coverage they will charge you a % and penalties for the time you did not have the coverage! Those fees could really add up. Then if you don't get other types of coverage they say they will again charge you % and penalties again!
I know I can't afford the fees!
