The Old Folks Home

I juSt keep thinking about how terrible duck poop smells... And how much they go.

What cracks me up is in the last video first thing when the ducks get in the water... the male has his way with one of the females.....

Buncha nice folks here! I noticed the conversation regarding our California drought. Here's a picture I have of what used to be a lake. The little lines you see were boat docks. It's pretty bad here. We need snow pack in the Sierras, outr rain just runs off and pollutes the ocean.
yep... I been looking at the lakes here. some are down 150 feet. these are lakes that are just filled with rain water. We dont have a huge amount of snow in winter.

Yup, quite a few Finns made that decision back in the day, this wasn't a very nice place to live back then. Glad to hear someone is entertained by my posts =)

Why won't you be able to visit Finland? LAX-Reykjavik-Helsinki should be a viable route. Costs an arm and a leg though, unless you can get a good deal. I think flights to NYC go for about 700 bucks usually from here, and to LA it would probably be more like a grand.

I have checked the calendar on my phone several times, and it still reads, "December 23." Did I move to the Southern Hemisphere and didn't notice?

I got up to 75o and rainy today. The temperature isn't all that strange, even for December - one of the things I love about Wilmington is that we get spells of lovely, mild weather in the winter - but the rain is just bizarre. We got something like 2" of rain yesterday afternoon, mostly in deluge form. There has been one tornado-warned thunderstorm to the west of us already this morning. What the heck?! This is summertime weather! It's like "Christmas in July," only in reverse!

That's really cute, Wisher.

Must be nice to have mud that's dry enough to 'pack' - mine just tries to slump downhill. I know, you work with what ya got, but somehow, I don't think anyone would like a "road apple" snowman much.

We are getting snow! Snow in the valley, and snow in the mountains where we really need it. I don't need it in the Chicken run though. :/ Getting another tarp on today. And, will finally put some straw down.
