Well it's a Tuesday I have to go to the dentist, so I took the rest of the day as a personal day... the first call out to my cell phone was 0600, the second was 0730. Good thing I was up at 0300.

I hate the dentist. I was supposed to go to a periodontist but my life got derailed this year. I am not in the mood to be scolded.

I think I found the spouse. And the kids were easy to spot wit the description. But what really caught my attention was the beautiful cladding of the church, I really like that. Reminds me of the houses built in the archipelago here, traditionally painted with red ochre paint.

Well, the heat wave just got worse. About 35 F right now, and it's raining. There's going to be a lot of ice soon. I hope people don't get hurt, it's been a while since we've last had this kind of weather.

Thanks and I feel your pain about the ice. That is what we have been dealing with for the past month. Dancing around the freezing point is bad.

Do you have any churches that are a bunch of upsidedown wooden boats stacked on top of each other?

Those are so super cool, we should have one of those here in Alaska, and we don't have a single one.

This is her orientation day and I didn't know what time she was coming because she worked last night. She should be here in an hour.
Hopefully we'll get some work done but it will be important to show her around and get chores lined out.

Dentist wasn't awful but I got a scolding. Apparently in between my father's suicide and the family Lyme disease and all the other loveliness that was the latter half of my year last year I forgot to make an appointment with the periodontist. I also should have flossed more... apparently when it's all you can do to get up, put pants on and try to function throughout the day one should also add flossing to that.

Yeah, he can bite me. I think that's a good insult to throw at a dentist.
