Goat riots......resolved by cookies.....who knew?!

Since my dogs got nearly all my hens and I had to buy some pullets in Dec. I bought the Rainbow pack from Meyer.
These chicks are on the same ground that my Bronze turkey were on last year.

I wanted to add by the time dad had run that shop about a month they hit their "ontime" mark. by the end of the project they were into bonuses for being ahead of time.

Thank you for sharing your story Deb! It really brought back a memory of when my dad took me to his shop one Saturday to keep him company as he worked on a government contract. He was a master tool and die maker. He actually worked out of more than one shop because he was so skilled they all wanted him for their most complex jobs. It didn't hurt that we were within easy driving distance of all the major auto makers and a couple military contractor builders at the time.
I could smell the machine oil as I read your story, and it made me smile.

My sister thinks I can wedge it into my biggest dog crate.

Me... I am not so sure.

If I could only cut the legs off, and stick them back on later. :lau

I got a full sized goat into the back of my Suzuki a couple years ago. A passenger is a must - they are on goat patrol and feed the goat cookies at regular intervals to reduce goat riots.

I have tie downs in the back.... If I tied them to the tie downs, to reduce attempts to jump forward over the seats, would that result in stupid goat death in some way?

I would think after five hours of being fed goat cookies, they would revolt and explode in some way for the next five hours.

Yeah... I have a Toyota Highlander, and I do NOT have a nifty grate to keep them in the back.

I just used a horse stall guard. looped a flat longe rope up over the top of the car to secrure it at the top and fastened it with bailing twine benieth the seat belt attachments.

Nothing says you couldnt do this with some field fence or even chicken wire. or Orange snow fence....
