Thanks for spoiling your utopia for me.
The rat was a no show again tonight.
Things are about to get real up in here. Friday night, baby. I'll stop at Dunkins. Some espresso for me, some munchkins for the ratties.

Very nice looking fish! And your daughter is very prettyCheck this out. Our daughter and son have been out fishing.. Here are a few pictures of what they just caught...two different places. First couple of photos were at Yuba Lake. Nice big Northern Pyke...or Pike...oh well, nice big fish!
This was caught at Fish Lake..I love love Fish Lake! I used to go often when I was
feeling better. Nice sized trout here.

I have a JRuss mix and she is okay with the chickens, so far. She likes to herd them and chase them but will stop if I tell her no. There are two birds, a hen and a roo, that will square off with her. She considers those two her friends and will trot around the flock looking for one of those to spar with. The others ignore her until she gets within a couple of feet of them. When they get treats, she slips up behind them to sniff their butts! She will stand still with her tail up and to the side when one walks toward her so it can sniff hers ( but seems offended or disappointed when they don't!)
Holy cow! Thanks for the compliment on my daughter..I used to look very similar.Only I had very long blonde hair. Down to my waist..wait, I have a photo...
of me with a fish at Lake Powel. Now, you have to know..that years ago, Lake Powel was my favorite place to fish, along with a lot of other folks. It's sad that the water has gone down as much as it has, but Arizona is using it along with Utah..it's down from this photo. It was so much fun back then. This is a Large Mouth Bass.they are fun to catch, feisty.![]()
Have to hunt for the photo. That would be the 70's alright, with hair straight and long like that.
Now I'm trying to figure out if this is a stripe bass, can't remember if they call it a large mouth too.
Fun anyway. We caught a lot like this and larger. Great eating.

The fish in that photo is about the size of the bait I use when I go fishing.Worms are for chickens lol.Holy cow!THat could have been mein that pic in the 70's holding a big fish-- usually a white perch at best though. My kids haul in the bass now on a regular basis at the lake we fish at. THe water had been low for some 30 plus years due to the old dam. It was repaired and the water is high like when I was a kid so I'm curious to see if the bass will still flourish.![]()
We have a lot of worms-- some for the chickens, and some for fishing. At least I don't have to bait the hooks anymore for my kids. ( Yeah) I never minded putting my own worms on, just didn't like baiting some one elses hook. Ewwww-- sticky dirty slimey yuk.![]()
