According to meteorologist Cory Reppenhagen,
"total precipitation for Colorado's next winter storm
Friday thru Sunday. Showing 5 inches of water for the
weekend. This is from the European computer model,
which has been the most accurate and reliable models for
us all winter. The American global model, which has been
terrible, shows not even a fraction of this moisture. What
makes this even crazier, is that the Euro has this moisture
in the form of snow.... yes SNOW. That would mean nearly
40 inches of wet spring snow, or if it is colder and drier,
nearly 50 inches of 10 to 1 powder snow.

This got posted in the Colorado thread earlier today. I'm excited... Been quite a few years since we've had a spring storm this size. Last one I remember I had over 3' and the foothills got over 7' in some places.

Ooh... Make sure to report on Monday, so we know.

Personally, I doubt it will be snow... I mean that would be too awesome. So since that's what I'm looking forward to, I doubt it will happen. But of course I'll post either way.

That's 5 inches of water over the weekend, and depending on where the low center moves, could be in the form of snow.
