Giant rivalry between the university of Texas that is located in Austin and full of city slickers and tea sippers. :sick

Texas A&M Univeristy is in College Station, Texas and has the best Animal Science, and Range Science, and Vet school and Mechanical school in the country. It is full of good old boys. :D

A&M was originally the Agricultural and Mechanical college of Texas.

Trying to get a more diverse student body, they have now changed their name to A&M with the A and M standing for nothing. :sick not kidding. Still an awesome school though. They have a large slaughter house on campus, and a dairy, and big greenhouses, so students can learn all that practical stuff.

I got my artificial insemination certificate there... They have a bunch of dairy cattle to practice on. They are also set up to teach castration, and dehorning, etc. etc. They have a big indoor pig house, clean and nicely run, not nasty.

I did my undergrad and grad there. They have big experiment stations for the range people (me).

Oh Yes!

I meant that a lot of people think that lying a lash eggs is a fatal condition--soon--for a hen because it is often caused by a bacterial infection of the fallopian tube. It is not true though and that egg looks more like a lining being shed.
