With those horns, I would think "unsafe" at any distance. Do the down turned ones cause them any grief, I would think they get caught In fences etc.
 
I could use the cleaning service, too.

Just had a goat step on goat-chicken (the chicken that thinks shes a goat and lives with the goats instead of the chickens) and split her from neck down past her crop. We just had to finish her off.
