This is a picture of last weekends bread:

Does it say anything about me that the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this wonderful bread was "How cool that Ron made bread with a chicken foot on it!" ?

Our temps dropped again here and dh has been sick for a couple of weeks. And none of the oc meds are helping. I keep telling him he now needs to go to the Dr. and get some prescript. to help him get over this head mess before it settles in his lungs.

I hope it warms back up soon. We have a fence to move and make a new garden bed and put up the rabbits new carport shed. Lot's to get done before spring.

@ronott1 so much for posting your English muffin recipe. I've wanted one for a longtime. My homemade bread recipe is one I found in an Amish cookbook that I have. It's a bear to make. It takes three kneading sessions after 1-1/2 rising periods but for a whole wheat bread recipe, it comes out very fluffy.

@chickadoodles These bugs that keep going around are so resistant to anti biotics you can take three lots of different and it's still there. I have gone the homeopathic route as I have had sinus for a couple of weeks with all the pollen, she gave me 'concentrated
HYDRASTIS' tastes like leaf juices and is disgusting but it worked really well. Maybe you can try some...
