The Old Folks Home

Checked that link...it was the NYD hatch a long?
That was a bit fiddely!

The link would not change so I had to remove the old one and then add the new on.

Thanks for letting me know!

No posts in 17 hours? I promise to stop talking about snow.

Good Morning, SCG

I like your snow stories and the pic's are even better!
So more of the same will be good for me.
How did your critters make out in that mess?

I've just been super busy. We were talking about the snow out east yesterday while I was at the bank. It's hard for us to even imagine that much snow when the temps are in the 60s and the geese and ducks are migrating. I've been seeing huge flocks flying over, mostly heading west at this point. I'm wondering if they are just flocking together to head north or just moving to new feeding grounds.

In all seriousness, I wish we would have a good snow. Our winter has been moderately dry so far and our pond levels are down. Rain would be welcomed here. Todays temp is in the 60s with sunny skies so I will be out working on the run.

Most of the mt. Main roads, like 80 and 50 opened yesterday. They were close for days from snow and mud slides.

Ummm no.

Been there done that, dug out, moved more south. We have had some truly remarkable rains here since we retired. One morning we woke up to find that there was 6 inches worth of rain in our rain gauge. It had poured all night and EVERYTHING was flooded. Every stream was out of its banks, roads were closed, etc. We get heavy rains, lots of ice over the winter but I think the most snow we have had at one time was around 8 inches.

Just layin low these days fighting vertigo.... hiding from the world.
