It is time to start them, but I normally don't have feet of snow on the ground at this point. While we normally get snow this time of year, we've sufficiently warmed to just keep melting it. Heard on the radio this morning that even at this point in the month, without it being finished, it's the 5th coldest March ever on record.

I do have the room indoors, at least right now I do.

It just seems so impossible that I should be starting them.

They gave Maddy this gel stuff that she has to rub in her wrists for nausea. I've never seen that before. She's also on tamiflu and an antibiotic. Still just woke up throwing up. Slight fever, but not high enough to worry about

Thanx. Me too. I hate seeing her sick. When the doctor told her not to kiss on the ducklings she burst into tears. "But I'm their mama!" The ducklings are now in the little coop outside.

This has been our 5th warmest winter on record, and the warmest February ever.
