Beer can your birds are very pretty.

And I am not a fan of the NN's. But I guess I am getting more used to seeing them.

So I guess they do grow on ya.

We are having so much rain here I think my chickens feet are showing webbing

My youngest daughter and her family came for a weekend visit. I so enjoyed getting to see 4 of the grands this weekend.

Inspired by NotAFarm's weekend chore list, I spent my weekend doing Spring planting. Of course, it wasn't just planting. It was loading bags of compost, spreading bags of compost, churning compost into soil, planting seeds, and then fashioning critter deterrents as we've got quail and rabbits that would enjoy the tender seedlings of peas, beets and radishes. Knees are now trashed. Luckily our 70-degree days are giving way to the more seasonal rain showers scheduled for this week, so I think I'll have a little sofa time and magazine catch-up.....more my speed.

I managed some yard work this weekend too. I have limited space but will be getting some basil and tomatoes going soon.

Really envious of all of you with grand kids. Especially around the holidays.

Doctor gave me new med for muscle spasms I've been getting in my back. Stronger than the one's I've been taking.

Wish there was an emogi of a little guy with eyeballs rotating in opposite directions with with little stars floating over their heads. That's how I felt before I fell asleep on the sofa watching Star Trek Voyager....kept dreaming about Klingons.....

Microchick, wonder if that medicine would help me. Your dream was much better than the ones I have been having .

I don't think I'd wish this medicine off on anyone. I just got back from feeding. I felt as if I was walking uphill in a hurricane just to get there but at least the terrible dizziness and gorked feeling is backing off.

Of course the muscle spasms have stopped for the time being so hey, no complaints there.
