I was looking at meat grinders today

anybody had experience with the F Dick Suasage Stuffer?

I am also deciding if I should stuff my sausage with a sausage pump or a machine.

It all depends on how much sausage you will be stuffing.


Machines are better for a big batch. Are you making Duck Sausage again?

Speaking of, where has ol' Tick been?

Been wondering about that, myself, almost to the point of going to check on him. No, I don't know him, but he lives in a little one-horse town, if half of what he said about himself was true, he should be easy to track down!

Of course, Wisher knows she never needs to worry about me. I'm always purrfectly well behaved - everybody knows that.

Just got back from the Post Office and could not send anyone's syrup! I am so upset! I don't know what happend but they had police tape around the building and a sign on the door that said Temp. closed? How horrible! Why would anyone mess with a small town P.O.?

We will go back to the P.O. tomorrow and try again! Sorry!

I think we fixed what I said before you every seen it Wisher. It was on a forbidden topic that I had no clue was forbidden.

I once did 20 pounds of swedish potato sausage, using a machine. Takes a little finessing (( snicker)) as too fast creates problems. Slower is better.

Oh and I've been meaning to ask for more duck recipes as 2 are headed for processing. DUck soup is my limit.

NO problem. Now I am curious about the tape and what was up . . .. I miss the small town newpapers. ANd the postmaster, he was a local that new everything going on!!

Oh Kim--- I have the same problems--- sleep makes all the difference for me, and oddly which foods I eat . . . and if you ever try to read my posts late at night, it is like reading gibberish. lol WHich reminds me, when I was in the hospital I was restricted to my bed and yes I promised I would not get outof bed, so wrote in a journal. It looks like a gorilla tried her hand at writting!! I saved it as a reminder. . . . . .so I understand.
