Not sure if this worked. Hope so because this is the most bazaar chicken related thing I've ever seen!

It worked when I clicked on it. The only thing I can relate too is the ? on the white paper.:thLike...what the heck??? Virtual reality for chickens. Poor chickens.

I think I missed the foreigner/van event
Yeah.... last fall eldest left for 2.5 months.

He showed up in Phoenix, Arizona and was supposed to find a foreigner, driving a big white van, who only spoke very broken english, get in the van, and be driven over an hour to where he was headed.

Ha!

Luckily my kid is a giant ox of a boy/man, so I wasn't worried. Sure sounded bad though.

Ok...I think I remember read that now...because I was here. That helps that he's a big guy...I'm still concerned much to the exasperation of our kid. He's a big dude as far as height...but still has 2 years before he hits 18 so he's still young. I think he's 6'4" now.

:barnie Lost my quotes, twice! I think this was answered/quoted/replied but I just can't see it. :hit My thoughts are she's more protective because the area is smaller.

And I just can't say enough good things about kennels! SO handy...for everything! I'm a sales lurker and keep picking up used/new kennels on sale. I plan to move the chicks out today IF I can get to it. Moving them into...a kennel! Yay!:ya

Well that is not necessarily
New Zealand doe 4 wks. old 5-19-17.jpg
true she has been in a standard cage since her last litter was taken from her. I moved her into the kennel three days before she had these I believe.
I think she's winding down a bit anyways, I hope she stays that way.

We drove over 3 hrs to get the new addition. She's a New Zealand and she's only 4 weeks old. The woman assured me they have been eating and drinking on their own for over a week. This little one is very tame and has been handled a lot so no kicking at all.
I am going to keep her that way.
Edited to add: It look's like a drowned rat because I washed it's feet from the kennel it was in. She was not happy about it. But she'll dry soon enough.

Oh good grief! 6'4" is tall!!

My kid..is...uh...5'9" or 10".

But he is so strong..pretty cool.

He can heft 100 pounds of feed and haul them about with zero issues aND great ease.

It is interesting to see the kids grow...because eldest had a muscle spurt when he hit puberty. It was funny, every single thing he touched he broke. Doors, light switches, cabinets...

He also got the thick eyebrow ridge...with a crease above his nose..and wide shoulders.

The other kids haven't done that...they are all gradually building muscle, and are still NO WHERE near as strong as eldest. They are all about 2 years apart...but eldest is twice as strong as #2. #2 and 3 are about the same. #4 is still thin and scrawny.

Kid 2 is getting a monobrow. :lau but still less mustache than a post-menopausal woman.

I'm definitely not familiar with rabbits in enclosed areas/cages. Main thing is that you get to keep your hand/fingers. :D

It's really nice when they've been handled. The one female we have here was handled as young'un and when she comes up to me when I'm feeding the chickens...I can pet her once....lol. I hope your new bunny fits right in and gets into the groove for you.

She's pretty even when she's peeved...lol.

My father was a huge dude I guess, 6'4" and wide shouldered...he was a bouncer at a bar. His father was also a huge guy.

I've been 5'9" since grade 5, DH is 6'1" and on his Grandmother side the guys are huge men; both tall 6"4-6'8" range and wide shouldered. If the measuring thing when they are a certain age as a child is correct (it worked for my horse...amazing!) the boy's supposed to be 6'7" I hope not...it'll make it that much harder and more expensive to find clothes. The boy just bought a pair of cowboy boots...wow, talk about feeling small standing beside him...lol.

We have bad backs so we've kept him from doing a lot of heavy stuff so he wouldn't hurt himself. I grew so fast...I think it's one of the reason's I'm having issues with joints and stuff. He's the strongest at his school and he's lifting weights and going to the gym with his friends now.

Very handy to have around for getting chicken feed etc. I could use about 10 of him right now...:lau

It is very cool to see how your children develop. I've only got one so I have no comparisons. He looks more like me, and we hit heads a lot because we're both hard headed. You can't imagine my shock when he told me the other night "the older I get the more I'm becoming like you with being particular. I don't like it." :lau

It was a discussion of how he wanted to do the lawn. We've only got...several acres of lawn  but I like it to look just like a city lawn. I always changed the cut direction and had all the lawns match up with one another so when you drive past they all match up exactly.

After several years of complaining...he gets it now. :lau:woot
He doesn't want to trim the ditches with the ride on...not good enough.
Wants to use the push mower. :yesss: *insert evil laugh*

Ya I must keep all my parts. hhahaaahaha
I'm sure she'll adjust to us. The momma doe I have they never did handle her much and I have tried she don't want no part of it. She'll let my dh pet her once. lol She has eaten out of my hand.
I am going to make it a point to hold this new one every day.
Thanks.
