The Old Folks Home

This is my MIL, and Dh to a T. They don't eat any meat with bones in it, because it reminds them that the meat came from an animal, which died for them, then they can't eat it. I'm so mean, for a long time, every time Dh would try to eat, I would let him know that an animal was killed, so he could enjoy his meal. I reminded him that vegetable valiantly died for him too. He doesn't give me much nonsense about his food anymore.

sounds good there is a burger place down about 5 miles down the highway think it may be time to bop down try it out going to have my hashbrowns and egg this morning after a shower last cup of coffee before the shower... slow morning BF did not even try to wake me before 10 what a dear gotta love him :yesss:

I slept in till 7. :weeDh said he can hardly wait till he retires so he can sleep in.
We had chicken soup last night and the night before I baked chicken with squash casserole. I like to buy large packs of meat and separate them. But sometimes I just cook it all at once in different meals so I am a meal or two ahead during the week.
We don't do burgers very often anymore. :he I really like them, but they don't like me so much. :duc Dr. said cut down or out.

I saw an interesting point of view once. It was a person that only ate pork and beef, never chicken. The reasoning was what was interesting, they said that for 1 death, a cow could feed their family for months, a pig could do the same, but a chickens death is only worth 1 or at the most 2 meals for their family, so the "cost" of chicken is much higher in their mind than pork or beef. This comic just reminded me of that.
