Yep...Took us 2 days to winch it up out of a creek and it pre dates 1852. After that they were made in quartered pieces for easier shipping.

Right!!! That's kinda what we do here. Most all the wood used is from pallets. And the guys are finishing a bungalow for our oldest son. All the supplies are hand me downs from other stuff. The outside used to be a privacy fence a friend needed taken down. Now it's a home.
