The Old Folks Home

I have a cousin, he was jailed for over a year I think.

The stories! And then all the issues he had with his parole officer ...

He worked on AC systems, so had giant knives to cut ductwork...but was not allowed to have a tiny pocketknife.

(We wasn't arrested for a violent crime BTW )

I've never been arrested but maybe should have been a few times lol
Outran them once in a '80 camaro in town, not faster just lucky in my duck and cover. Another time in a '83 subaru wagon, not faster either lol but smaller and the 4wheel drive sure helped on that atv trail.
Did get caught once in a dirt bike, can't get away when you run out of gas....
No arrest though, just tickets and fine$$$ so steep I had to sell it.
Sure glad I grew up, well mostly kinda sorta :D

had to quit driving when I still had my bus 1989 Beaver Contessa sold the utility trailer 16 ft I towed behind for equipment at dog shows, anyways lost my license in 2012 due to vision young friend was trying to drive my bus to park her clipped a neighbors fence they called police... she swore I was driving well me no drive told them then who did, didn't want the kid in trouble so they took me.. stayed 3 days to stubborn to call help.....

I had an uncle that was in trouble with the law most of his life. Just functional illiterates who didn't know any better.

He finally wound up in prison. Escaped. Nobody ever came looking for him. Nobody ever knew why.

I can remember my mom telling me about him beating his two sons with a broom stick when he found out they had robbed a gas station. I said good for him, he didn't want them following in his footprints. No, my mom told me. They wouldn't share the money with him.:lau True stories, I swear it!

That branch of the family tree is gone now but they were always good for entertainment.

Sometimes y'just gotta remind yourself that you have to stay in the deeper end of the gene pool.

Yup, never lie, does no good.
I've many funny stories of being pulled over and let go without a ticket. Almost every single LEO I've met when I've been 'bad' has been decent people. Even the only one that did give me the only speeding ticket I've had I thanked and said have a nice night :)
