The roosters look very heavy metal. ...they also come in black.

I am picking up a 5 month polish cockerel on Tuesday be my first one..

They are standard.

Thanks! She is a stunner, a bit more round than the standard, but perfect color, she is Chamois. The roosters are also Chamois.

I'm planning on ordering next spring. My oldest survivors will be 3 years old then and I'll have a pretty good idea of what my resistant stock is going to be.

Thanks guys. I'm looking them up. I had searched at Cackle. I'd love to use them as they are Missouri based but I didn't see them. I'll look again. Maybe they just added them......I hope.

yep. Cackle vaccinates. Another great hatchery tho their customer support gets real wonky during spring/summer. I've ordered from them. Birds arrived healthy tho of my 5 Aussie "pullets" 2 were roos and one of the pullets grew up to look exactly like an all black leghorn! Crazy little bird but friendly. Their shipping can also get pricey depending but they do offer small order shipping (for a LOT of dollars)

Let me know what you think! I hope you have the same great results I have had so far. that USPS shows some compassion and handles your babies with a bit more than normal care. (I've had some real nightmare experiences with the postals)
