But do not mock, JD; it ain't over yet. The big story with Dennis/Floyd was the water, and most of that was only apparent days later. A few years ago, the remnants of a storm that had gone in through a Gulf state passed through here, and spawned a weak, short-lived tornado that killed two people. When your house is the one hit by a falling tree, even what is barely a ripple of energy can be a disaster to you.
