The Old Folks Home

We are clearing more of the underbrush near where the goat barn will be. I tied a ribbon from one tree to another to mark the line where the holly bushes will be planted. I am going to need more mulch. There are 2 big piles of dead wood and brush to be burned, maybe tomorrow night. It is all very wet right now.
Husband seems ok with the plan of the hoop coop and a location for it. We are going to have to cut brush and dead trees out of the way for the Mule to get down there the short way to carry building materials. You might think i could lose weight working outside but so far not much has come off.

Sounds quite ambitious!

I want to burn but can't now--we are under a red flag warning again

The construction guys have not showed up all week. They still need to put snow rails on the house and gutters. Then the goat barn project. Guy said it would be done in a week. It has rained some, but not at all today. It is hard to get good workers i guess. There is no way those guys will be done in less than three weeks. I am betting my hoop coop will be done long before the goat shed.

Wow Cap you have really been busy.

Ron I've been praying Cali gets rain and they can get those fires out!
We have clouds in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday. It would be great if we got some rain from them!

:fl

That's terrible! I hope they have not started another job else where on you!
Can you call them? Sheesh!
