The Old Folks Home

The second plumber called me back when I was on the treadmill and wanted to do Friday, but unfortunately both of us have to work.
Waiting for him to call me now with his next opening.

As for wandering (wondering) the aisles, I am the person who stuck a metal screwdriver into an exposed light socket because there was a cockroach in there. I actually saw the cockroach crawl under the lightswitch plate, got the screwdriver out to unscrew the plate, and then plunged my screwdriver in to kill the cockroach.

I ended up blowing the fuse for my entire apartment building.

I'm sure the cockroach survived.

I am pretty sure plumbing is contraindicated.

I am great with science things, but you add anything electrical or mechanical to it and I become a bimbo.

Electricity will not kill them! It takes a head shot!

I have to say it was one of the top 2 scariest moments of my life. It was loud and it was very bright for a split second and then it was very dark.

I knew immediately that I was lucky to be alive.

Or maybe I did die and this is my hell... :hmm
I have you beat on that one. We had a fuse box inside of the house in the closet. I was working on it thinking the power was off when it was not. Luckily I was holding an insulated screwdriver when I arced the two power rails. It knocked me back and the flash blinded me.

Screw driver was a gonner!

She was TRYING for a headshot with the screwdriver! But it cleverly deflected the driver into the switch terminals and got blown clear to live another day.

Geez Ron, you hit BOTH rails? How hard did you hit the wall?

You mean we are ALL in hell together? Very "Twilight Zone".

Oh my gosh! I have you both beat!
A breaker went out in my 1st mobile home I bought. So I bought a replacement and cut the power off to replace the breaker. Right. Only two screws... What could go wrong?
I'll tell you what went wrong! I replace the breaker and it worked but the whole trailer was electrified! Any where you touched metal you got zapped big time! I sold the mobile home! I did disclose the problem!
