Love the bonfires now we can also do them here we had first frost here so it is done for the year dig potatoes soon put more in but cover with black bags they will grow all winter

I've been dragging branches, Big ones, out of the backyard. All day high winds brought several down from the Sycamore tree. Every time I got near the gate to bring them out, they grabbed it and forced it shut again. I regrouped, turned them around and managed to thread them through the opening. Wind persists today and my fingers were freezing.

Sorry about that! We had high wind here yesterday too.

our weather is actually kinda nice here very cool breeze but nice cold out low 30's hoses froze last night

Don't remind me, i have a raised bed of sweet potatoes to dig up. My knees are still hurting from the fall i took on the wood floor while stepping over the dog and carrying the cat.

Ouch Cap! I had a dog trip me once in the yard while I was carrying a hen in my arms. Managed to fall on my elbows in soft ground without dropping the hen and no injuries to either of us. I saw the dog eyeing the hen in my arms and bellowed a NO! that scared the dog so bad she ran for the house.

Went to the doc to day to find out the results..... Yep cancer and they are taking everything... Including a lymph node to see if its in my lymph system.

Tomorrow morning I setup my patient account at UCSD Medical Center.... the Case manager tells me this will follow me through life the account number that is.

So depending on if its in my lymph system or not will determine if I get Chemo or Radiation... Chemo for lymph. Radiation for just the cancer... Unless they feel they got it all in surgery.

The Case worker it may be a week or less before they do the surgery... So before Christmas.

The Doctor Said she was so sorry it wasnt better news. i told her ... It is what it is... We tackle what comes...

I am pretty pragmatic once I know the outcome... I will get upset in private.

I got Chips and guacamole coming for dinner and GUINESS...

So now everyone knows what I know...

Oh, @Perchie.girl I don't know what to say to you. I'm sitting here fighting back tears.

All I can think of is a prayer:

May God watch over you and strengthen you. I pray that He touches you with His healing hand and restores that perfect health that only He can give and may He be with the doctors and nurses who are seeing you through this along with your family.

I dropped the cat and missed the dog but hit both knees. It was all because my foot got up inside my pj bottoms and i fell. Still hurts, like weeks later.
