The Old Folks Home

Many of the big box DIY stores like home depot will deliver and install for free depending on the price of the item I guess... as well as take away the old appliance.
This one had a 15 dollar removal fee and a fee to install. Times they are a changing!

I think there is a relatively small charge to take old appliances away but yes they will install for free. But when I got a new dryer from HD a few months ago, I told them not to install it. They won't use the existing cord even if there is nothing wrong with it. They charge $20-$25 for the cord.

Those cookies look good @chickadoodles

No company for us. Hard enough getting ready as it is. Hubby would like the cleaning that occurs if company is coming.
Personally i am happy to be getting stuff done outside.

Husband chopped up a tree that fell during a storm, and made a big burn pile. Man does a lot around here!

Thanks. :D

If the inside of your house looks like the inside of my house, I'm with your DH :D It is always nice to be able to see the surface of the dining room table. It only happens when we are having someone over. DW is really good a piling ... and shoving ... and piling ... and shoving.

:lau
I guess I'm also guilty of some of that.

Micro I hear ya. :lau
