Wish we had these hand held phone things with awesome cameras yrs ago. 20yrs ago? my boxer rode everywhere with me, always head out the window cheek flaps blowing in the wind lol. Have a few pics of him.

Oh no, hope my cheeks aren't flapping. I never thought of that. I had cockers and theirs always did. But, hey I bred Cockers for show we weren't related otherwise.

Against my better judgement I agreed to one of these lab pups my cousins dog just had. Early birthday present for youngest dd. I really don't want to feed something I can't eat but I'm pretty sure it'll fetch ducks and geese so I don't have to swim lol! It'll make her happy also. Feb 10th he said we can have a chocolate female.

Now that's a litter! Glad DW didn't crap them out like that! Lol!

Thanks for the lessons on alpacas.
They are very pretty and also. A couple ladies around here have some.
I don't think I would want to eat one either.

I don't think I want any alpacas. Wouldn't eat one, and don't want to make wool from one, so it would just be one more mouth to feed.

My only exposure to camelids has been at our fair. One person had llamas; they usually got whiny and started spitting at people within a week. A couple of years ago, another of our "regulars" got some alpacas. They seem more laid back (and the crias are just too cute!)

I love chocolate labs, because you don't see them often. Actually I like all colors. They do seem to have bottomless stomachs like my cockers did - have to keep watch on intake.
