The Old Folks Home

Thank you! I've never made yogurt, but I'd like to. Do you (or Ron) have a recipe?

You have a roo named Stew??? :lau:gigThat is the funniest thing I've heard in a LONG time!!! :gig:lau

Oooooh homemade butter! :drool I had no idea there were Amish in Missouri. That's so cool! :thumbsup (I live clueless, under a rock I guess)

Can I be your neighbor? I'll never complain about your chickens.

I thought of you last month when I was driving to/from Oregon. Woodland is always our sleep over spot.

I've seen people try that, but I've never seen it actually work. :lau
Woodland is a Sleepy town but also it is the head of the Norteano Gang too! There was a multi State raid here last week.

I am not worried though...The Gang activity is mostly in the other part of the City.

The yougurt recipe I use came with my dough proofer. I will get it for you

Watching Food channel. Woman's making oatmeal raisin cookies using chicken schmaltz instead of oil, wonder how they taste? It's a using every part of the chicken in a meal, including dessert show. Interesting.

Why did the chicken cross the road?

To get to the paté.
Lol.
I bet its yummy.... I made oatmeal Raisin Cookies with Bacon grease once... I just omitted the salt. OH MY GAWD they were good. everyone raved So Schmaltz aught to be Yummy... I dont think its as salty so use your judgement on putting salt in the mix.

I worked with someone who lived above San Francisco... They are there too...

When She was fourteen she abducted and abused by gang members as a rite of passage..
When her daddy found out He took care of it. Her mom and dad were Hells Angles.

Wile she worked with me and according to her tattoos she belonged to a Mexican gang member... I dont want to know which... and was dating a local Skin Head.

That job was quite an eye opener...

@room onthebroom we have a very large Amish population in Missouri and our farm is in the middle of a community. We bought it from an Amish cabinetmaker 8 years ago and love it here.

I was living in Central Illinois until I met DH in 05. City of 35,000 and gangs had moved into the area. You never saw them but you sure heard about them. They had moved downstate from Chicago.
