The Old Folks Home

I broke 3 ribs sneezing once! Wrapping them is not a good idea because you can develop pneumonia.
Sorry about your plants , hope they recover.
I am nervously waiting on my report. And somehow i have poison ivy on my hand!
I threw out my back and pinched sciatic nerve in my early 20s from a sneeze, laid up for long time, hasn't been a problem since, knock on wood. ..

This is purely speculation, but I think they're actually pieces of marble (like a tombstone would be made of) and I think they're more retaining walls to keep the "window" clear? If you "take a step back" and look at the whole picture that's what it seems like to me. There's more holding up the "mound" in the back, too.

They would be pieces of bluestone, what would typically be used in sidewalks and patios. Oxford was known for bluestone quarries, has a golf course called Bluestone golf course. My dad ran a big quarry there when I was a kid until I was about 20. I'll look up where it was in relation to that grave later, out of data. There was other quarries around also. The one my dad leased the landowner always wanted a big pond, and now it is. I've found it before and you can tell there was a quarry under it with Google maps, just hard to remember the roads and exact location.

Bruce great job on your hen! Congrats! I hope she continues to recover completely.
I took her back out to the barn early this afternoon. She seemed fine but a number of the other girls, including one of her BFFs, decided she was an interloper. They forget in a WEEK!?! I stayed out with them for awhile and gave every girl that tried to peck her a foot shove. I think I need to be out there at roost time to make sure she gets a spot. I'd hate for her to not go in the coop for fear of being beat up.

I've tried to get mine to eat yogurt. They just dip their beaks in and shake it off. Maybe if I mixed it with another treat.
I'm telling you micro, canned cat food. It's the chicken's cluck! Though I do understand one purpose of the yogurt is the good bacteria.

Here is my poor little plants

My Tomato plants...
Looks like if it is warm enough, time to get those plants outside before they get rangy. I had that problem 2 years ago with my cabbage and broccoli plants. Kinda of amazing some of them didn't die after being planted.

Great news, my biopsy came back normal! What a relief!:wee

HAPPY DANCE TIME!
