One day, I walked into my grandmother's house, and she nailed me. "What's this garbage about needing a special grit pot?" "Make your man some dang grits, and cut it out with the nonsense." Busted! After that, I made grits for him.

Worked for a long time though!! Plus, you DO need a special pot, at least one dedicated to those grits. That way when he asks you can say "I'll make them if you can clean the pot from the last time".

It is cold tolerant to the mid-20’s.

You can if you have a green house and lots of light.... Many of the dwarfs can be raised in a pot if you keep em trimmed. Contrary to popular belief if its a dwarf it still has to be kept judiciously trimmed. Orange trees can get around twenty feet. Dwarfs about twelve...

I want to espalier mine to keep them low and protect them from wind damage.... If you keep them up against a wall they will get some reflected heat from the wall. I have ROCKS.... LOL.

They also work as anti personnel protectors.... Most citrus has thorns.

I read a book by a Dr. that said similar things about current medicine. It is called practicing for a reason!

In our greenhouse, we have a Duncan grapefruit tree, a lime, and several lemons. This is one of the lemons, and yes, the leaves are variegated, and the fruits are pink!

woo Hoo schedual is up and I have a bizillion radiation appointments.... None of em say anything but external.....

Now to work on the social anxiety the wells up when I start something new... Yep I am that one.... Run to the bathroom alot... show up too early so I can get the lay of the land.... Bite all mynails off.... what nails I have left...

Problem is.... they are practicing on YOU.... sigh... Thats why I dont jump on the newest bestus earliest release of vaccines or medicines.... Started with the horses...then i realized I should do that for me as well.

Good morning/afternoon everyone. Lost track of the time there. Just got back from making the grocery/feed store/pharmacy/bank run. They are calling for more snow tomorrow here and record low temps on Saturday morning. Something like 17 degrees. Then more snow on Sunday. Ain't nobody happy. Nobody is getting early gardens planted. Everyone is complaining about the relentless mud and the cold. Today isn't bad. Windy, but the sun is mostly out so nobody is complaining about that!

Going to walk eggs up to the neighbors and then get down to business outside while I can.
