Just candled my broody's eggs. 4 for 4. Think pink. Micro needs pullets.....Micro ALWAYS needs pullets.

But I have to go into town tomorrow and I'm going to stop by our neighbor down the roads house on the way and talk to them about butchering my extra cockerels for me. I've got to do something. These boys are just driving me nuttier than I regularly am, which is going some. I'm sure his son will be interested in the job....I hope.

When I Process, I do 2 or three a day on the weekend. I can handle that many easily

What will you do with the extra boys? Goat Roast?

Two of the boys are herd sire quality and I will offer them for sale in that capacity. The other three will be wethered and two will be offered for sale as food or pets. One of them I plan to keep to replace the existing wether, who will be heading to freezer camp when the little one is old enough to replace him.

He pissed me off again tonight. He's Bang's son and the two of them are destined for history, one way or the other. The two of them dumped an entire feed bowl of pellets out on the ground right after I filled it, fighting over who should be able to have their head in it.

There are times I'm glad I'm not packing when I'm within sight of them. I swear there are times I would have shot them dead. The two of them are just royal PINTA'es. They are disruptive to the entire herd.

Nothing fancy here for dinner tonight. I cooked all afternoon yesterday, meatloaf, homemade bread and white bundt cake. So tonight it was Banquet pot pies and homemade apple sauce. I really need to use up last years apples to make room for this year's crop. It seems as though we used a lot more applesauce than last year.

I took a nap this afternoon so I'm feeling a tad better.

I can remember my mom telling me about one of my brother's friends who was a bit of a dim bulb so to speak. They had a school project and the boy's mom did it for him. When the grades came out the teacher wrote 'Billy-C Mom-A. I think they got the message.

That was a great teacher IMHO.

anxious... Wendesday I start radiation. Three thirty PM till when ever bout an hour I suspect... Treatment is about 15 minutes getting dressed and undressed and situated on the table will take up the rest of the time.

I am hoping my appetite will be suppressed some.

I have one tattoo that disappeared. They may have to find it and redo it... No biggie.

I hope you are able to stand the radiaton without too many problems!

How will they find the tatoo? Will there be a fain marks still?
