Not too surprised recall many Mothers days with snow

whew. .. snow stopped, and the refrozen over pond thawed a bit. Spring.

They are always getting trade-ins that you can pick up at a reasonable price.

And the nice thing with 3pt accessories is as long as it's for that size tractor hp, it all is interchangeable/fits. A John Deere bailer from 40yrs ago will fit a Kubota or a Massey Ferguson, or any of them.

Bought a husqvarna rider few yrs back and didn't bother cause it had that deck wash hookup, it sucks for the most part IMHO.

My Sears garden tractor was built by Husqvarna. The deck wash thing is a HUGE joke.
Might do something if you are mowing your golf course every other day. Otherwise the grass just packs in and the deck wash does nothing more than wash the chlorophyll off it. I don't know if they work slightly better on small decks, mine is a 3 blade 54".

My husband is insulted. He informed me his baby is not a garden tractor. It is a utility tractor.

Nope, garden tractors don't have 3PT.

Our other tractor is a Mahindra 3510, four wheel drive, big bucket-6 foot but surprisingly easy to drive.

Bruce we have a cub cadet that has 3 blades for a 54" cut and our deck wash does not work well either.

85 degrees here right now and I just heard on the radio Whiteface mountain in the Adirondacks is open for skiing this weekend from top to bottom with over a foot of snow. Skiing in May, lol. It will be their longest season (155 ski days) and latest opening on record.

around here the ski season will end in the spring. Most skiers switch to water sports

I have the 46" deck. The deck wash worked ok when I parked it on the pad of my garage before I had it up and ran it with the deck all the way down. Not doing it in the garage now lol. But still didn't really clean it, just got most of it out. Deck has some rot now.
Like I said next mower I'm going to undercoat the deck like that old Deutz Allis was, that deck and mower had no rust or rot, but it was also probably better metal and twice as thick.

@bruchha2000 Not likely to happen. That tractor is his baby. The 4 wheel drive is a must. He's got the front wheels bogged down several times and used the bucket along with the 4 wheel drive with the differential locked and the bucket to unbog himself.

Sad day for me. I had to put one of my hens with ocular Marek's down. She had been progressively loosing her sight since the first of the year and this last week by all indications she was just shadowing out of her one remaining eye. The last three days I haven't been able to get her to eat. She drank today but wouldn't show any interest in food other than picking up one pellet and laying it back down. I have been hand feeding her for weeks, holding food and water under her beak so she would find it and eat/drink.. I think over the past three days I got two tablespoons of scrambled egg down her. The roosters were terrifying with the exception of Rocky, my half blind BO rooster who slept next to her last night and stayed beside her today in the coop until I dragged them out so they could eat. So this afternoon when I offered her food after getting her to finally drink, and she refused. I knew it was time. This one was hard and she didn't die easily. #19 or #20 I've watched die, I have really lost count at this point. I was really fond of this little hen. She was very pleasant and friendly. All I know is like I told my husband. I can't do this any more. I can't put any more down. I know I did the humane thing not letting her starve to death but.....

Sorry. Pretty tearful right now. I know this is part of keeping a flock but it's the part that really really STINKS! Just needing to vent.

God I hate Marek's disease.

RIP Sassy. Rocky and I will miss you.
