The guineas and turkeys share the chicken space. Only the ducks have their own spot on account of being filthy animals.

A couple other things I'll try too....I'm going to bathe their bums, and do a little feather trimming. Maybe that will help. I googled rooster infertility. Wow. There are serious problems going on with roosters becoming infertile. Who knew?

I have read on BYC that is a hen doesn't like a particular roo breeding her, she can reject his sperm. Could it be the hens really don't care for the roos? I know slight chance but, maybe they just don't care for something about him. As Elaine Nardo would say "just not sponge worthy."

Diva, I considered that in the beginning. I don't think that's the problem.

Sorry. I just thought if she was moved where she couldn't get to the nest boxes it would break her brooding.
