I see I dozed off for a couple of hours but, now I'm back

Well... my eldest made it down to Houston with no problems. I loaded him up with drugs to help him on the flight. His fever is gone, but he still has a horrid cough and congestion.

However, the drug load was good, because he had no sinus pain with all the flights (3 flights to go from here to there ).

He was picked up by a completel stranger to HIM, but a guy I know and he is a student of my dad and does lots of stuff for my folks. He didn't even have a van... he drives a smart car!

So, that is it. The other kids at home are already talking about who gets his mattress.

He will run through home for only 1 week in August, and then go to Anchorage for his second year of college.

Luckily kid 3 is almost as good at chopping wood as kid 1.

This is a Mars grape. It's for southern states and more resistant than others.

Al, good to hear all accounts of eldest son's situation. Major improvements on the stranger situation, and transportation too. Middle kid gets his mattress. That's the way it works. It's the law of multiple children, and hand-me-downs.
