The Old Folks Home

But I called B.C. and told them all they did and B.C. took their hospital off their preferred LIST!
They must have had a lot of complaints about that hospital, one inept individual wouldn't cause that.

Woke up this morning out of oil. Now I have to pay a 50$ emergency delivery fee and 35$ priming fee because I let that issue go.
That sucks. You might want to learn how to bleed the pump, it isn't real hard. OK, not YOU since you claim to be dangerous with anything mechanical, maybe BF could learn.
Oh, and you can use diesel fuel in the furnace. Might be worth going for 5 gallons depending on how much you would use between "this morning" and when they would deliver without an emergency charge.

at the end of the call the leader asked if anyone heard chickens throughout the call... or if she was just going insane.
At least it wasn't guineas!

Just had to do a conference call at work. The only place I get a signal at home is on my porch. I was on mute except when I had to talk and at the end of the call the leader asked if anyone heard chickens throughout the call... or if she was just going insane.

so did ya tell them it was you?

Been way too stretched thin these past few weeks, and so finally got bit...

i've been dropping the ball on all kinds of things, which isn't like me, but let's be honest - there's only so many things you can do at a time
Even the best of jugglers have a limit to how many things they can handle successfully. Cut yourself some slack.

Just rain yesterday, cleared out.

I owned up to it being my turkeys. I think these "city folk" don't seem to understand, think they thought it was wild turkeys joining me on account of the comments.

Completed the seminar on historic iron in cemeteries, and then mowed the lawn. Need to decide if I'm going to spray the poison ivy now, or if it's best to wait until it's bigger. I seem to recall that the young red leaves don't absorb the poison as well, so I need to google that before I decide to make use of my nice, hot water.

In the 10 years I've been here I've significantly beat back the poison ivy to an almost tolerable level. I spray twice a year - got it too many times pulling it up manually that I have to go with the spray, even though I hate the thought, I hate the rash more.

I had to tent my lettuce this morning. It sprouted and the cabbage moths always find it quick.

I cleaned out all the dead leaves and debris from my strawberry bed. I am going to have to add some new soil and mulch to it.
And make a frame for my bird. Netting for it. The birds and squirrels won't share!
