Can't miss someone there is no relationship with. Sad but true.

She's the type of person who only calls when she needs something. The rest of the time she ignores me.

I have two older sisters that don't speak, they both talk to me about the other one. I think I would rather they didn't acknowledge my presence.

I'm taking a weekly sewing class. Next week's class is making a pair of pillowcases. I went to Mardens (surplus and salvage but usually a great selection of fabric) and only had 10 minutes before they closed. I wasn't too inspired in those 10 minutes and then I saw the line for fabric cutting and skedaddled. I wasn't getting out of there in 10 minutes. Then I went to Joann Fabrics which is right down the road and open longer.
Now my teacher told me not to get anything that only goes one way (ie when you turn it everything is sideways). Turns out that's apparently the type of fabric that I like best when I'm told I can't have it. I don't really care one way or another, but she does, so I'll obey the rules for now.
I was in a bit of a rush because I had to go home to tend to the chickens (I got chewed out by my showgirl for getting home as late as I did - she can't get up on the roost and waits at the gate for me to pick her up and carry her inside like the princess that she is... but I digress) I found this:
http://www.joann.com/novelty-quilt-prints-heavy-equipment/12509592.html

And was really sad that it is directional. I'd love to show up to class with that fabric to make a pillowcase out of . There's apparently a whole line of "heavy equipment" fabric to go along with it, too.

I know BF won't enjoy it for our own bed, but I'm thinking Christmas presents!

I know, right? As much as I loved that one, I ended up getting I WANT YOU TO LOVE YOUR COUNTRY with pin ups of Abe Lincoln and Paul Revere.

Probably won't be doing a pillowcase out of that, but I am thinking apron. And maybe some hand towels.

SCG OMG I never knew Jo Ann had fabrics like THAT - do you think they are in the store also???? Maybe hidden in the back near the restrooms. I can't sew but, maybe I could staple a pair of curtains, pillow covers, even one of those long sleeved recreational suits .
