The Old Folks Home

Cap we can't believe you until we see pictures of the baby poults - you know the rules: no photos = never happened. We'll give you a short grace period till they all hatch. :plbb
It may take a while, they are not due to hatch til Weds. But yeah, i will post pix. 20180602_130017.jpg 20180602_130031.jpg
Here are some quail for now.

Took the dog for a walk today. The trail is very overgrown now, about 3 feet high. We (she) went nose to face with what appeared to be a groundhog (although it was silver colored so it could have been something else).

She sniffed it and then flipped out.

Pulled so hard she pulled her collar off then ran down the trail.

I managed to get her and get her collar back on but she would not go past that spot on the trail. Took me 10 minutes of inching up the trail, and then her flipping out, and going back towards home before we could sneak past that spot. On the way back home she remembered the spot and it was more cajoling her to go past it.

It's like owning Scooby Doo.

:lau yes get her scooby snacks!

maybe use a choke chain or prong collar I prefer prong as they are a easy constant pressure style a choke is just that but neither can be pulled out of

@MrsMistyReal and @chickadoodles, Prayers going out for your DH's and you. So much going on. Hope all is well with others. While reading, saw that someone is in need for neck/spine surgery. Had that done years ago. Worked out well. I couldnt do anything with my left arm but keep it up, so as to keep pressure off of that nerve, causing pain and my arm going numb. When I woke up after surgery, I remember thinking...my arm is down...it isn't numb!! What a relief. :)

It is amazing! and to think some say to not have surgery for nerve blockages. Surgery is much better now yet many still base their decision off of the old surgery
