Hope each of you have a great day:cool:

I don’t know! I was woken up by the sounds of a chicken squawking and ran outside and half of my flock was missing. The door to the run was still closed. My roosts are pretty high. There were some feathers in the run and some in the yard, but the chickens were gone. I could hear them screaming out in the woods but I couldn’t get to them. Five gone. Including my Boo Boo who was sitting on eggs

Awwww I'm so sorry! :hugs:hugs:hit:fl

Did you have chicken wire around your run only, or on your coop too? I don't trust chicken wire to keep anything out. Raccoons can get through chicken wire fairly easily. A good option is to run a couple strands of hot wire, and turn it on at night. It's cheaper than trying to re-do everything with welded wire, and will work good against raccoons, coyotes, dogs, cats, etc.

I used to buy plants on ebay, and got suckered 3or 4 times by UK sellers - itty bitty plug plants (they never mentioned how small) - most didn't survive. But got equally screwed by USA sellers - some that I knew well.

Decided I would hybridize my own houseplants and avoid the scams, problems, high prices on inferior plants etc. I've been doing so since the 80's.

I can see how that could happen, some things you just can't buy on the internet, period.. I tell that to my daughters all the time; if it weren't for online buying those girls would be starving, they even buy the food they eat on line, smh:hmm.. Hey, I have a couple of nurseries near me, so when it comes to plants (tho I'm not a big or the best gardener), I go there, look around, have fun and walk out with a plant or two ;) Have a wonderful day @drumstick diva .. :frow:)
