The Old Folks Home

I am staying inside this afternoon and starting a jack cheese wheel!

This one cures for 30 days so it will be ready on the first of August. It has to dry for several day before it gets waxed
Let us know when the cheese and whine (oops, wine) party is. We'll bring the w(h)ine.

I take the cold better, I can layer, or wear down parka, etc. etc. and feel great outside.

In summer there is nothing I can do to feel comfortable outside. Taking off clothes is not the answer.
Yeah after you take it all off, there is nothing you can do.

Making Tilapia.... to top off Zuchinni and yellow squash ragu....

My new diet calls for low carbs high fat medium protien.... Three pounds of squash of this tiype has a Whopping thirty grams of net carbs... One Cooked in fresh butter and garlic dill and lemon zest in a pan till brown then tossed in a pot with a couple of chicken boullan cubes and some hot water enough to make it soupy..... Left on simmer.

The tilapia cooked in the microwave with garlic dill and lemon... They were frozen so I stacked them in the pan to make the flesh the same thickness.... Its really steaming... perfect for adding to a stew.

It going to be a giant meal.

It's about 78 degrees here now. It will be 90 tomorrow, until the rains, then it will go back down. The low is 74 for tomorrow night. Neener, neener....:tongue:tongue Don't worry though, it will be HOT by August, and even worse in September. It was not hot here during the winter, but no snow, no ice, no freezing blizzards, except at Dairy Queen.
