What was the issue with Bama? I actually thought he was a VERY straight shooter... No political correctness at all. Called a club a club (didn't want to use "spade" as I'm so ultra PC ). Pulled no punches and had no issue calling folks out for their BS. He was so loathed by those with their knickers all in a bunch... Got to the point that if he so much as sneezed and farted... well... Cya! Anyway, he brought me some pretty good laughs

ETA... As I recall, it got so sensitive that even the mention of his name got folks a "time out"... Hope I haven't earned one here

I remember Ron but, won't mention that name - I had nothing to do with that person.

Every once in a while I see some new members posting like it is a different forum and I think It is ok! They will be gone soon

With Bama, we did not see most of the things that got him in trouble. I think someone was assigned to monitor every post.

Usually it was drunk posting that got him in trouble

I have all my followed threads posts Emailed, so generally once posted, I could go back through Email to try and see what happened. He did get drunk quite frequently. Matter of fact, with his medical situation, I think he was drunk more often than sober. His PC governor didn't work too well either way. I liked him and mostly enjoyed his posts. I laughed a lot. Much didn't meet the site TOS restrictions however.

Ron and LS I think we all enjoyed a good laugh when he was sober. I'm sorry things did not turn out different.

I just picked the last of my grapes off my Mars vine. I think I got avot 10- 15 lbs of grapes for its second year that's not to bad.

Yepper I though he was hilarious.... so be it. Its been what three years and a different platform?

He was one of those survivors.... Got crushed when a heavy I beam fell off a truck told he would never walk again... Several Surgeries to put him back together.... and a loving wive that put up with his shenanigans and took care of him while he learned to walk and care for himself.

I miss him but this truely wasnt a good platform for him...

I agree that far too many have become way too sensitive.
