Well folks, I have gone from no flock to an embarrassment of riches. A friend gave me three dozen eggs to incubate. EEs, red hens and lavender Orpingtons. Now the nice lady who gave me my new rooster is giving me the rest of her flock. She can no longer care for them. So tomorrow she is bringing over seven or eight chickens!

Craigslist them. I think more people check Craigslist for deals than Facebook, not everyone that is on fb checks marketplace, everyone that checks CL is looking for deals and free sells quick lol.

Never have hubby or I Facebook,tweet, or whatever else they have out there.We have 1 phone with basic internet,if by chance we need more then that we go to the library.Thats one of our favorite places to go,everything is free love thatUnless they're having a book sale but that's cheap toSo yeah we live of the grid somewhat & old fashion in a lot of ways.Hubby still opens doors for me ,brings home flowers ok off topic but you get the just of it
