Sad day for JD. My mom passed this morning.

I've been out of it all weekend.
My dd #1 that has all the drama in her life kept calling me. She was drunk as usual. I kept telling her I would not talk to her till she sobered up. Then she kept calling and screaming at me cussing me and threatened me!
Twice! I finally told her that's it! I was done and not to call me any more! I blocked her number and blocked her on fb. I even had dh block her on fb. Because she was blasting me on fb.
I just cant take all her mess any more. She has drained me.
Yet I feel guilty...
She has turned into the monster her husband was.
Her kids and her sisters won't even talk to her any more.
I was the only one still trying to support her.
How do you detach yourself emotionally from a child who's an addict?

I'm sorry you are going through that Chicka. I've been lucky to not have any addicts in my life. I don't know how I would be able to deal with it.
