The Old Folks Home

JD so sorry. Lost mom in 99, dad in 06. It's never easy and you are never ready to say good bye to your parents no matter how old you are or what kind of relationship you had with them.:hugs There are always words left unsaid and issues unresolved even in the best of families.

All I can say is if you have a surviving parent and are older yourself, cherish each and every day you have with them, good or bad.

Finally starting to feel better. Truly don't know if my IBS kicked in with a lot of inflammation or if I had a virus or infection that I picked up some where. All I know is that it's going away and that is good.

Had to put my rooster with the eye infection down. It stayed chronic for a month but blew up the past week. I feared he was shedding staph at an alarming rate and plan to run some terramycin through that flock just to protect them since they are auto-immune suppressed due to Marek's. I kept putting off dealing with it hoping it would quiet down again and I should know better. Sometimes the heart just shouts over your head and you can't hear reality even when it is screaming in your face.

Hope you are feeling better, Penny.
Sorry for your loss:hugs

Thanks Misty. That has crossed my mind but I've been on minocycline for about a month now from tick bites so I'm hoping my gut Flora and fauna are just in a state of rebellion. I need to get some sourkraut and Greek yogurt and Chow down. Not together. Thinking sourkraut and brattwurst with yogert for dessert.

I also need to stop getting tick bites.

Glad you found the guilty broody, @Alaskan.

But we Love you,@superchemicalgirl!
