The Old Folks Home

Hi everyone. Incredibly busy (in a good way) Sunday that kept me away from the computer most of the day.

Came home with my new hen, Fay Rae. She is a little wild child 8+week old that I had loads of fun catching. She is as large as my largest OEGB cross roosters so it should be fun when she gets to be loose with them. I showed her to the boys last night in her carrier and they immediately started dragging their wings and dancing for her. Poor baby just had this look of total confusion on her face.

I tried to get a pic of her last night but she kept darting back into her coop. Hopefully today. 4 chicks arrived safely and are doing well. They are two days old today and starting to show their personalities. New pics of them also in the works.

We are on our way now for DH to have some more skin cancer surgery. This time it's on his left shoulder blade. He's just happy it isn't his face this time around.
