Actually I have totally given up ice cream for a whole week - honestly. Even though the grocery store had my favorite on sale. The thing about giving up an addiction, is you start a new one. So far, thankfully, I haven't thought of another.

I think we need to start a contest. Will Drumstick Diva last a week without ice cream? If not, how long will she last?

I guess NO and 5 days!

No I don't see well enough to thread a needle even with the "threaders" they sell. I have one near sighted eye and one far sighted. The near sighted one is overused and tired because of being on BYC for so many hours at a time. Eye drops the doctor gave me don't really help.

I do need to shorten a lot of jeans I have. I am shrinking I guess or it's because the newer ones hit below the waist and I have to keep pulling them up. Maybe I just need suspenders - what a great look that would be

Cut down some trees a couple of days ago. One 60' hung up in another tree (leaner on the left)

And the butt stayed on the stump. Though great efforts were made, I could only manage to get it off the stump .... and planted in the ground. Even a seasoned logging wench wouldn't have been able to help so I called Al (the guy who used to sell wood) and he came down with his 3 PT logging winch. Took some mighty pulling but he dragged it out, made a nice furrow in the ground until it dropped.

So tired of the wet, rainy, gloom so I made a nice comfort food dinner that is stick your ribs good. Sausage gravy and biscuits:
