Baby 2 is the spunky one of the bunch, and Chunk just wants to be cuddled.

But Dottie is still my favorite.

I started getting them on Friday.

I have. I went into my profile and "unchecked" where it said something like "notify me" if someone quotes, me or posts after me, or follows me. I NEVER chose to be notified. IS it okay,i f after all this time, I say I want the old BYC website back???? Every time I figure out something, they change the game. I'm too old for this.

i see I wasn't the first to want to know where they got this Santa. I am NOT a Santa collector, but this one can't be resisted. Guess I wll have to find a Hallmark store somewhere near here.....

I started getting them on Friday. Is there a setting for it in our profile?

There's a "feature" which allows members to choose to notify other members of posts they would like to make sure that member sees. One uses the "@" symbol plus the member name with no space. Such as @gryeyes - this will create an e-mail notice to the member, in this case me, about this post. I think that is how it works anyway. Regular old quoted posts don't trigger an e-mail notice. At least, as far as I understand it... As a totally different aside, I have the TV set on now, and my two House Chickens have settled down for the evening on the audio bar. An E-surance commercial just aired, the one using chicks cheeping to reflect "cheap" rates. Sparkle Silkie, the Broody Queen (not currently broody OR raising chicks) woke right up and chirrupped in response to the cheeping. Both she and Punkin looked around for chicks. They're still slightly alert.

It did on Friday. Any old quote and an email was sent.

Me too !!

The emails eat my allotted space at my server. Ugh!! Changed the profile info asap to save the space.
