The Old Folks Home

Poor guy! That almost qualifies as cruel and inhuman punishment on top of the surgery. Sure hope everything goes well for him. Seems as tho he has been through so much pain already. What type of surgery did they do on his spine? Did he have a complete disc replacement? Fusion? Or did they do a plate and screw stabilization? I'd find out what kind of diet they have him on and if there is no restrictions have a Big Mac and Fries waiting for him.

Micro I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks, chicka. I'm feeling better this morning. I was mainly just dead dog tired. I don't handle being on the go all day well any longer. Picture @superchemicalgirl's blood hound zonked out on the sofa and that's pretty much how I feel. Seems to be the one lingering side effect from the methotrexate. Increasing the dose seems to have really helped me get over the flare I was having but the price I pay for feeling better is this bone numbing fatigue. I figure it's a payoff I can live with.

Told DH I was just about ready to get one of those motorized shopping carts when I shop at Walmart or HyVee. Those stores are just so big and I wear myself out just shopping for groceries when I go there.

We are predicted to get our first snow today. One to three inches by in the morning. It's just COLD here this morning.

Schedule is to run into town this morning, pickup feed and do a few errands before heading back home.

The padding for his brace to keep pressure of his incision.

Dh is going to be the last one for surgery today. The Dr. Will fix the nerves causing the pain and put the plates and screws in this afternoon.
He has not eaten since supper Monday. Poor thing is starving! We should go home Saturday.
:fl

He will feel much better after the nerves are clear. It is good that he feels the pain. Not feeling pain equals nerve death.

I am hoping for the Best!
