SCG, try and make the best of it... a mini vacation sort of thing... Can you upgrade to a better hotel with a spa and take advantage of it? Or maybe find one close by and pamper yourself? With the work and hours you put in when home, a few days break might be nice... just sayin.

DD called from the mountain just before noon. The resort is going to put her up for the night so she isn't driving in the storm. Works for her, other employees that don't live on the mountain road (which means everyone but the internationals) and them. They can't run the lifts if the employees can't get there in the morning. No lessons if the instructors can't get there. Given it is a 3 day weekend for some people, I suspect the condos are pretty well rented out. People would be unhappy if they went to a ski resort and couldn't ski. May not have brought their bathing suits so they could hang out at the indoor pool and that isn't a good time for a lot of people anyway.

The other good part of us not having to wonder if she will stay on the road? I don't have to get up early to plow her out and can wait until most of the snow has fallen later in the afternoon.
