Penny, sorry about the chicks. My guess is they had some underlying problems that weren't obvious when you bought them.

I'm on dog time. They are my alarm clock. I think they are dawn-activated as I haven't missed many sunrises. I recently received a coffee mug that says, "My dogs are the reason I get up every day. Really freakin' early...every. single. day."

DH, on the other hand, must be logged in to hibernating bear time. That man can sleep! Definitely NOT a morning person.
I am not a morning person, either. If left to my own schedule, I wouldn't see daylight until late morning. I'd made a great second shift worker!

Forget the knee!

I snapped my front right tooth off at the bridge level at lunch time today. I am off to the dentist soon.

Since this one is a permanent tooth, Delta Dental will pay their part too.
OUCH!

Ron, when I had my root canal done, it wasn't bad at all. Getting the post, and crown were as easy as a filling.
There is nothing "easy" about even getting a filling for me. I need gas just to get my teeth cleaned...

The thing about dental care that really hurts, is the bill. I have Delta too. I just direct pain to my fingers or my toes- it honestly works. Novacaine takes so long to wear off I hate it.

My dentist knows I don't need it but, when he was doing a 4 tooth bridge for me, out of nowhere he stabbed me big time and tons of novacaine. Believe me the needle hurt much more that going without it would have. It also took forever to wear off. :rant

Someone on BYC told me dentists like to give big hits of novacaine so it won't wear off fast and need another injection.

I may be a little Chihuahua of a person but, I don't bite or snap. Though he does tempt me.

It's really chilly here today, only 37 degrees and I just looked outside to see a fine snow shower coming down. It's like what the.......:hmm

Brooder is cleaned and testing the heater now. Fayoumi chicks arrive next week some time via a friend's order with M.McM. hatchery.:yesss:
Exciting! I bought these guys today.
