I got the frame made for the roof of the packing crate coop, and the frame for the door. Plus I put the nest box in place today.
Off to shop at Rural King tomorrow.

Went to lunch and came back gone less than 3 hours and the poult is dead.

Now he mostly does remodeling, with a special interest in historic and timber frame buildings, but it’s rural Vermont and he will pick up anything close to home!

It's only about 2.5 hours from your area to mine, that's pretty close

The rabbits got the weeds

I wish the rabbits would get the weeds in my garden!

the lone female, Roxi ran around the edge barking at them that they were going to get hurt and stop it while Sid, still recuperating from her spaying, set and pouted inside their fenced in backyard.

OK, I'm failing doggie math. Roxi (the lone female) and Sid (recuperating from her spaying). Does Roxi not acknowledge Sid? Or thinks she doesn't count since she lost her lady parts?

I’m very excited. I think I’m ready.

Retirement, first hurdle: Having NO idea what the heck day of the week it is.

I also need to keep the health insurance up for all of those older age Medical issues

I guess that means you have to work until DW is Medicare age!

Anyway, works out well... noone cares about sunrise verses go to work time anyway.

Which is why we should get rid of timezones all together. Everyone just sets their "office hours" relative to GMT. The Brits start at 0800, NYC at 1300, LA at 1600.

It was a problem for a couple more evenings, but after the third evening, they all had it figured out.

The kids probably didn't want their play date to end!

But in the meantime I really miss my guardian 'daddy' rooster.

I wonder if he had a heart attack. Clearly he didn't drown.

As in all fields any one worth their salt will admit they cant know everything... Only where to find it...

As did Einstein. Why memorize things if you know where to look them up?

they gnaw and chew their food... Pretty screamable and runable.... for certain.

I hate spiders with a passion but, walking through a spider web sans spider, is just icky enough to ruin my day.

It Came! It Came! DH just brought in the mail and I immediately opened it! I LOVE IT! One for each Red Heeler! I love the expression on the dog's face it's like "What? Who ME?" They always look so deceptively innocent after you catch them doing something they shouldn't.

You dear sweet lady, thank you so much for sending me this. I'll cherish it forever!

First the free freezer and now this! Man I am starting to feel good karma coming back to me!

Body parts still young enough to want to do it all old enough to temper that 59 this year so not too bad making a banana bread with sour cream today or maybe with pudding in it ? have a chilie mac hamburger helper replacing the pasta in with bow tie Okay just using the spice packet from it will add a bit of chilie also

The sour in the sour cream is needed to react with the baking soda in the recipe. If you use pudding, add a tbl of lemon juice or white vinegar
