Sorry folks ...I got crazy busy!
How I be? Health wise I feel the best I've felt in four years. Financially not so well. We were doing pretty good until I got my wage contract for the new school year....I got a pay cut. I filed a protest...especially when I found out that at the high school they got a $1.25 an hour raise for all personnel there. The school board is having a meeting Monday.

Tough!

Huge budget cuts up here too. Alaska has been a huge handout state for years .... with little taxes... because of oil money. Now oil money is dropping like a rock.... and the cuts are going to hurt.

Morning everyone same here state was sued to fund schools so teachers said we want better pay (was quite low for most) this year they are cutting a bunch of teachers cuz they spent it giving the raises

Spent another morning in the cemetery I've been working on with another member of the committee.

Got 6 more stones reset, have 6 more left I think and made plans to go out next weekend and get 'er done, weather cooperating.

One of the people on the board to save the meetinghouse next to the cemetery happened to drive by and stop to thank us for our work. We also got a tour of the meetinghouse, and it was beautiful. Every time I drive by I wonder what it looks like inside, now I know.

What was it like inside? It has some great shingle work.

Does it still have bells in the tower?

And what denomination was it built as? And how old?

Oh I meant to tell you @superchemicalgirl when I went to Long Island last week there were tons of old cemeteries everywhere and I thought to myself “ @superchemicalgirl could really do a lot of work out here” haha weird, I know.

The quilt is about as done as it is going to be for its trip to Canada.

Ron, it's ridiculous. My supervisor was making the same as me....and that is because she got a nickel raise after three years. She's now going to be making $ 1,200.00 more monthly...because she went to a neighboring school district.



I applied there last week when I found out the school has 5 more openings. I'll see what happens here and if I don't like it...I'm gonna be gone within the next month.
